River Bluff will now have its own wine again thanks to Blayre the vintner. The journeyman is trying his best to get their old operation back up and running, though it'll be a while yet before tangible results are seen. It'll be an excellent tithe exchange product for the Weyr's vintnercraft.
Blayre and S'yei are seen again playing a clever little game that could be foreshadowing things to come. Things are heating up here!
Weyrlingmaster third D'lorn meets up with Briata and invites her to speak to the weyrlings so they can meet a HAD. She agrees.
After Rhosyn goes to Dolphin Cove to meet with Cyradis, N'vanik gets wind of it and comes to River Bluff to have a chat. Said chat ends up being a yelling match but there's no clear winner. The pair seemed amiable at the end of it, though.
The expecting parents check in to talk about things. Briata and Y'gel seem to be getting along at least, though there are no warm feelings. Briata does come to see the Weyrwoman, though, when she realizes her gold firelizard will be going up to mate. Jewel's eggs will be distributed by Rhosyn when the time comes to gain favor and show the Weyr's appreciation of folks' support. Briata has asked to keep some, though, for gifts.
The weaver also meets with weyrling A'shel to see how her friend is doing. They talk about his impression and how things are going.
D'arvn gives his weyrmate, U'fouinn, a gift. It goes over well and the bluerider decides to show his appreciation.
Uetia suckers the new transfer, D'ren, into joining the Weyr's waterball team. Captain Rhosyn will be glad to hear it. The bronzerider seems to be fitting in.
Speaking of Uetia, Sirjath went up for her mating flight. Many dragons joined in the chase but there was only one bronze who could win her-Augashyth-much to Y'gel's surprise! Congrats!
