In Green Valley, Holder Reven's harper-sister Renette is heading out, to take a position in River Bluff Weyr. The siblings say goodbyes.

While Lady Felyna is getting bored with her forced bedrest and calls in Sarban for a chat. Unfortunate the Steward isn't much of a gossip.

The missing riverboat continues to give grief for Emerald Falls Hold. Weyrwoman Cyradis gives Lord Holder Corowal a visit to inquire about the situation. Corowal asks Weyr's help to sweep the area.

And Lord Corowal's other activities have repercussions when the drudge he bedded comes to tell him she's with a child. Ouch. The timing couldn't be worse with Lady Felyna going thru a difficult pregnancy.
