It's the calm before the big event. The hold is preparing for the Lord's wedding in month 2, day 7.
Erassa was in between the rock and the hard place when she had to explain what certain not-so-kind words mean to young Corolia. The fact that people still thing of her as the weyr-whore hurts her. Corowal was more than happy to provide comfort for her, the naughty man!
