Description: Oria has a pleasant surprise.
Location: Dolphin Cove Weyr
Date: month 13, day 1 of Turn 7
Notes: Mentioned: Pierka
She hoped it would be worth it. It had taken most of the marks she had
managed to acquire in the last turn, and about a month or so of V'con's
skills as a tailor to produce something. But she certainly hoped the
lingerie would have the desired effect on her weyrmate, after describing it
as something that a lover would want to see her in and be designed for him
to slowly take off.
L'cor hummed as he came in from his Weyr ledge after delivering
Pierka's grandparents back to Riverbluff Weyr. He was a little later
than he'd intended but things happened sometimes. He'd stripped the
straps from the big bronze before walking in. "Oria," he called. "You
should have seen them. Not so green this time." He hung his jacket on
the peg by the door.
"In here," she called out, sitting demurely on the edge of their bed. "I've
got a skin of that wine you liked."
"Hello there," he smiled when he came in and saw the robe. "My aren't
we comfortable." He bent to give her a kiss. But knowing his skin was
still chilled from the trip /between/ he didn't do more than waggle
his eyebrows. "I'll take some of that," he added and sat next to her
to pull his boots off.
She smiled and rose to pour him a glass. "I just managed a quick bath of my
own after scrubbing Degrorth, I don't know how she got so dirty." The glass
was handed over, even as she slowly undid the tie on her robe.
His eyes widened as she began to open up her robe and he saw what was
beneath. The glass lifted briefly to his lips and he almost choked
when he caught a glimpse what was beneath. "Oria?"
"You like?" she asked, as a seductive note creeping into her voice as she
let the robe drop.
"I like," he nodded with a bit of a goofy look on his face at first.
"Where ever did you _get_ that." His eyes scanned the tight fitting
bits of cloth that didn't leave much to the imagination.
"It took time, and effort to arrange this," she said even as she did a slow
twirl. "It helps to have a tailor for a friend."
"I'll have to thank your friend," he nodded then he stood and got a
closer view before cupping her face and dropping a soft kiss on her
lips. "But first, Thank _you_."
"I wanted something for you,"she said after a moment, appreciating his
reaction. "Just for you, to take off me, slowly."
"Oh," his eyes got round and twinkled. He liked that idea very much
which suddenly became very obvious between them. His hands ran over
her shoulders and down her arms. Oria was beautiful and funny and
everything he'd come to want in a woman. But this? This was like
frosting on a cake or more like wrapping on a present he very much
wanted to enjoy.
"Have I told you lately that I love you?"
"Not often enough," she said as she reached up to draw his head close to
hers for a kiss. The type she intended was one that couldn't be
misunderstood, that would tell him exactly how she felt, and what she
intended for that evening, without using words.
And he definitely got the message. His hands ran lightly over her
lithe form and the silky garment that barely covered it. Slowly he
pulled one of the ties that held a filmy legging to the thin piece of
cloth that mostly hid the patch of wonder between her thighs.
"Now," was all she could say.
That was all the encouragement he needed.

L'cor lay on his back with Oria's head on his shoulder. She never
failed to surprise and delight him and if it were possible, he would
have married her. HIs mind drifted near sleep and another young woman
entered his thoughts. He recalled her eyes and her hair and the
achingly sweet kisses they'd shared. He would have been content with
that life he'd seen before him at Green Valley. But that life was gone
forever and his new life as a Dragonrider, Lord's acknowledged son,
and his beautiful Oria was far beyond anything he could have ever
dreamed for himself.
He turned his face and kissed the top of her head. "Thank you," he
said quietly. **For my life.**
"Thank you too," Oria said as she lay curled up next to the man she loved.
"That was wonderful."
