It wasn't often that they had dinner alone, without children or without being in the Dining Hall in front of the Citrus Bay residents, but tonight Runnfreya had planned a special dinner for her and her husband. In a small parlor adjoined to the lady's rooms, a candlelit dinner had been arranged. For the evening Runnfreya wore a slinky black dress, cut low and adorned with the glittery diamond necklace that Raghad had purchased for her at the market at Sunstone.

Raghad came in and then just stopped to admire her. "Well, aren't you a sigh for a tired eyes," he said. No wonder the hold's male population was smitten with her.

Runnfreya crossed the room to her husband and ran her fingertips down the front of his crisp shirt, "Not to tired I hope?" She smiled.

"I think they just woke up," Raghad replied. Picking up her hand, he kissed her fingers. "At least something woke up," murmured.

A smile lit Runnfreya's face. "Food first then, my husband will need his strength for what I have planned."

"As you wish, my dear," Raghad replied. He went to wash his hands before sitting at the table. "So, what good you are serving me today?"

"Smoked salmon," she revealed as she began taking the covers off of the dishes, "roasted tubers and a salad." The salad featured some of the fresh fruits that were grown around Citrus Bay.

"Mmm, delicious," Raghad inhaled the scents.

"Dessert is better." She winked at him as she placed portions of the food on his plate.

"I expect it to be. Have I told you how much I like that particular dress?" Raghad replied.

A smile curved Runnfreya's lips, "Aye, I figured as much when you bought it for me." It had shown up in her quarters one day wrapped in brown paper with a bow on top.

"Marks well spent," Raghad said. All marks he has spend on her had turned out to be well spent.

The brunette took her seat across the table from him and began dishing things onto her plate as well. "There's something I'd like to talk to you about, Raghad." It was something she'd been considering for quite some time, actually, but had only given _serious_ thought to after her conversations with Lady Xeladrie.

"What it is?" Raghad asked. He filled his own plate and took a sip of his wine.

Runnfreya pushed some greens around on her plate before looking back up at the Citrus Bay holder, "I'd like to have a baby, Raghad."

Raghad stopped chewing for a moment, the only outwards sign he ever heard her. Internally, he was thinking it over. While he didn't have anything against babies or having more children, he was eighty-two. Did he had energy for the nightly wake ups, cries and smelly nappies? He might not ever see the baby grown up. If he managed to sire it. "I take it you have been giving it some thought?" he asked calmly.

"Yes, I have given it a lot of thought. I understand it might not be as easy as it was to conceive Hadrid and Runha." Runnfreya had already thought out that her husband might not be able to sire any more children at his age.

"Well, then, if you really want it. There's really no reason why not," Raghad said. He lifted his glass at her.

Runnfreya's smile lit her face as she raised her glass to his. "Thank you, darling."

"Anything for you, my dear," Raghad said. Besides, making babies was pleasant.
