Description: Sirjath rises to Mate in a new Weyr.
Location: Dragonsfall Weyr
Date: month 13, day 6 of Turn 8
No wonder Uetia had been so bad tempered lately. Sirjath's normally
rather unattractive green hide had deepened and brightened to
something more pretty Apparently, her broken shoulder wasn't the kind
of injury that would throw her off cycle. After all, rest of her
worked just fine (as K'mai could vouch for). Watching her still
slumbering dragon, Uetia decided to head for the feeding pens, she was still unfamliar with her new home and was worried she could get lost.
She felt Sirjath woke up suddenly, heard her issue a challenge and did
realize she had taken a wrong turn somewhere. So she stopped to curse.
"Problem?" a tall, curly haired rider with blueriders knots asked from her.
"You can say that. My green's Rising and I can't find the Flight
cots," Uetia replied.
"Well, since my Galerith seems to have taken interest, I've on my way
to same place and can show you the way," Sh'lua replied with wide grin
and eyed Uetia with interest. She was nearly as tall as he was and
almost as muscular too. A rare occurence and definently worth getting
to know bit better.
"Thank's," Uetia replied and let the bluerider escort her to the right
direction.
"You're from River Bluff, I presume? And injured at the quake?" Sh'lua asked.
"That's right," Uetia nodded.
}:Sirjath rises and I will catch her!:{ Sebeth announced as the blue's
desire hit K'mai.
**Good luck, love!** K'mai smiled as he hurried toward the flight
cots. Sharing a flight with Uetia would certainly be a wonderful
treat. Sirjath had chosen Sebeth many times so he had a good chance.
Then again, maybe the green would want one of her new Dragonsfall
suitors.
Juth landed near the feeding pen and issued his own answer to
Sirjath's challenge. She was new one and therefore very intriguing.
The brown hadn't had much luck with the lady-dragons later, perhaps
this would be his lucky day.
Sebeth's eyes fixed on Sirjath, watching the beautiful glowing green.
His wings twitched in anticipation, waiting for the moment when she
took to the air.
When K'mai arrived he saw the dragons but couldn't spot Uetia.
"Here we are, safe and sound," Sh'lua said when he and Uetia arrived
to the right place.
"Thank's," Uetia nodded at the blue rider and looked around who was
there. Most were unfamiliar, but she saw few riders from River Bluff
and K'mai. She flashed him a smile before turning her attention to
Sirjath.
**Blood only!** she commanded.
K'mai waved to her, hoping Sebeth won her flight. But even if he
didn't K'mai could use the opportunity to get acquainted with one of
the Dragonsfall residents. He glanced at a group of flight moths
keeping a respectful distance from the gathering riders.
Nirreth was late arrival but he made sure his arrival was noted.
**Show off**; G'nir said to him fondly when he dismounted and joined
the circle around Uetia.
Sirjath was now ready and launched to the air.
Juth and Galerith didn't take a long to launch after her.
Sebeth was just behind them, crooning to the beautiful green as her
shining hide flashed in front of them. }:You know I will fly you well,
lovely Sirjath.:{
Nirreth was again the last one after her.
After Sirjath reached enough altitude, she headed towards the
mountains and started her aerial dance.
"You have to catch me first!" on the ground, Uetia was mirroring her challenge.
K'mai moved toward the greenrider, reaching out to her as Sebeth made
a tight spiral to show off for Sirjath. }:It is not all about speed. I
am also very talented.:{
Sebeth was also very familiar and dear to Sirjath, so it was not
accident she placed herself on his path.
The blue darted forward and eagerly wrapped himself around Sirjath.
}:I will make you feel very good.:{
K'mai pulled Uetia into a passionate kiss as their entwined dragons
started to fall.
Galerith was bitterly disappointed when the new blue claimed the prize
ahead of him. She was obviously having a favourite.
Juth had been right behind Sebeth, which did him no good. The brown
shrugged it off stoically and returned to Weyr.
Nirreth grumbled when he was left without. On the ground, his rider
took advantage of the flight moths.
Uetia was actually bit relieved to be claimed by K'mai. At least he was something familiar.
