It was overcast when Cerillith rose. One moment she was stretching on her ledge as Harki reluctantly pulled on her riding leathers in preparation for the morning drills, and the next the green dragon had shot out over the Weyrbowl with a trill and a flick of her tail. Harki groaned, then shrugged and headed off to the flight cots. It felt a bit early for a flight but it _could_ also be the start of a really good day. One never knew!

One of the first arrivals was Ma'din, Aznith already darting to follow Cerilith the moment she emerged. He faced Harki with a flash of teeth as she arrived, beckoning her with a playful flick of his fingers.

G'nir and Nirreth tended to be up in early, so G'nir was already in his office, when Nirreth noticed Cerilith and declared his intention to chase and win. G'nir groaned, he had other things to do, but his dragon's mating instinct was too strong. Nirreth was busy declaring his eternal love and devotion for the green when G'nir arrived to the flight cots.

Harki looked up when G'nir entered-- then did a double take, and looked back at Ma'din. **This should be interesting,** she thought, then winked at Ma'din. And then blew a kiss at G'nir just to watch him squirm.

K'yne was muttering curses under his breath as he strode in. It wasn't that Harki wasn't attractive, and probably a very nice flight, he decided in one glance, but he had been right in the middle of some Wingsecond duties when Arinoth had fled his weyrledge to chase after the green.

Staying in front of Harki, his eyes narrowed as she blew G'nir a kiss. Wench knew exactly what she was doing. With a tight smile, he offered her a rude gesture and a wink before encouraging Aznith as much as he could to outfly the former Weyrleader's bronze if at all possible. Aznith bugled agreement; like his rider, his whirling eyes never left Cerilith.

G'nir refrained from an eyeroll, that would had been just as childish as he found their behaviour to be. Instead he just crossed his arms and looked stoic. It was Cerilith's choice anyways. If she took a liking of Nirreth, he would have nice roll in mating cot with the green rider. If not, then he could get back to his duties.

In the sky, Cerillith was looping in and out of the light clouds, her agile wings keeping her just out of reach of her chasers. Below her, Harki closed her eyes and let herself be drawn into her dragon's lusty
mind. The play of wind against her skin/hide made her shiver even as the joy of flight made her smile. They could outfly all of them-- for a while.

Nirreth was quick to get into the air and chase her. He knew better than waste his strength by following her too closely. He was waiting till she tired out.

Aznith darted upwards, lurking beneath the clouds. Though the strokes of his wings were far less powerful than the bronze's, the urge to win against his rival was strong enough to make him push himself to reach Cerillith before Nirreth. He crooned out his admiration to her, eyes whirling with eager lust.

Arinoth was not to be outdone by Nirreth and Aznith's competitiveness. The brown's focus was entirely on Cerilith and his determination to have her lovely green neck twined with his.

Cerillith twisted and flirted through the air, then threw herself toward Aznith in the hopes that he would be able to catch her.

Nirreth made a push, hoping to get her before the brown did. The bronze was able to put out a burst of speed.

The moment that Nirreth pushed forward, Aznith lunged towards Cerillith, determination to beat the bronze and catch the green overriding any other concern. The impact, however was light as he
twined his neck with hers, spreading his wings wide to catch the weight of both of them. Below, Ma'din made an answering lunge, catching Harki up in his arms.

Nirreth quickly backwinged to avoid collision with the pair. Bellowing his disappointment, he turned around to return to Weyr.

Arinoth swerved away from the twined pair in disappointment and blinked /between/ to return to the Weyr where K'yne was leaving the flightroom in relief.
