Description: Jyramikah and Br'nick run into each other at the beach and watch when Runes rises to mate and is pursued by Jyramikah's Tanzin.
Location: Dolphin Cove Weyr
Date: month 2, day 14 of Turn 4

"What brings you to the beach, Br'nick?" Jyramikah asked curiously as she hadn't told him that they were coming today. It had been a spur of the moment decision. She had wanted someplace quiet to think about what to do for her son's birthingday tomorrow. He was turning eleven turns and she wanted it to be special.

"Just spending some time with the middle ones. What about you?" he replied watching as Cyribray and Kerobi tried to cover Braysin in sand. He wondered if Braysin would be a greenrider like his brother as he had some of the same temperment that S'ric had at his age.

"I wanted a quiet place to figure out how to celebrate Jyrakon's birthingday." she replied.

"He's going to be eleven isn't he?"

"Yes, how can you keep up with my children's ages, let alone your own children?" Jyramikah asked surprised when she saw Tanzin pop in from /between/ followed by a variety of other males. She figured that there must be a green about to rise. She loved watching the flights because there was very little emotion tied to them unlike her gold's flights.

"I'm good with numbers. I think that Runes is going to rise. I can feel her lust. Is that Tanzin in her flock of waiting males?"

"That would be him. He likes chasing greens and you know they are easy enough to find here."

He laughed. "Don't I know it. Did you know that S'ric is entering the last phase of weyrlinghood? I'm so proud of him and his pretty little green."

Jyramikah nodded and said, "I saw him the other day and all that training has really done him good. He'll make a good rider when he's old enough to join a fighting wing."

"Thanks. I think he will too. What does Jyrakon want to do?"

"I don't know. He changes his mind so often, but he does want to stand at least once he said."

"That's good. Nicosia never did stand, but she wasn't really here that much until just recently. She still has time if she decides that she wants to. Braysin can't wait until he can stand and neither can Cyribray." Br'nick replied waving at the children as they played.

Jyramikah nodded, "I think I'm going to go investigate what the girls are building. I'll be back in a bit."

Br'nick was content to sit on the sand and watch from afar. He would take the children swimming in a few moments, but he wanted to watch Runes as she tried her best to evade the pursuing males.
