The nagging reminder that she didn't have long to dally here was the only thing that kept Larken from falling asleep in the bunched sheets beside M'tone. Shards, how she wanted to though. She forced her eyes open and glanced lazily over at the brownrider. His hazel eyes were closed, one hand tucked comfortably behind his blond head, exposing the hard line of his arm. Nothing covered the rest of his body, and she couldn't help but admire him. Even though they had known each other for over a Turn, and had been lovers for six months, she never tired of looking at him. Of course, she had used to blush furiously when she openly looked at him sprawled so casually naked like this, but enough time had passed where she didn't feel as shy anymore. Although, her cheeks still grew a little red when he would _catch_ her staring at him, or when she would catch him staring at her, but the feeling of shame that had used to accompany her blushes had long since faded.
As she shifted, she saw his breathing still for just a moment before it resumed. So. He wasn't asleep. Most times he did sleep after, not that she could blame him, especially when the weather was as nice as it was, added to the pleasant, languid feeling that stole over the body after loving. But it would be nice this time for him to be awake when she left.
Larken leaned forward to press her lips against his arm.
"I'm awake. I'm just thinking," he smiled as he turned his head to look at her. "It's not time for you to go _yet_ is it?"
"Not yet, thank Faranth. It's so sharding comfortable to just....lay here."
"I know," he sighed, reaching out to wrap his arm around her and pull her close. "In fact I was just thinking how nice it would be if we could lie together like this all night."
"I wish we could." Larken rested her head against his hard chest and wondered what he would do once she left. It was something she wondered often, for she didn't just think about him when they were together. She found herself thinking about him every day...even when she was with her husband. Ignoring the swift stab of guilt, she kissed the base of his throat. "And do a few other things, too." Her smile was wistfully impish as her eyes flickered to his.
"Oh, well, we might have time for a few other things," he murmured, running his fingers down her spine. "But not yet. I'm starving. I wish we could go down to the dining hall together."
"Me too." Shards, how wonderful would it be if they could, and not worry about being caught. "And eat our fill, as slowly as we want...."
M'tone rolled over on his side and propped himself on an elbow looking down on her. "Can you think of an excuse to tell Ojisan that could get you away for a restday? I want to take you North. Just for a day. It's summer there and there'd be Gathers and Marketdays and no one would know us there."
Her blue eyes lit with surprised pleasure. "Shards, M'tone, do you really mean it? You would take me North?"
"I would take you to the Red Star if it meant that I could walk out in the sunshine holding your hand and kissing you," he smiled, leaning down to do just that.
Larken's fingers tangled in his hair as she kissed him fervently back. "Will you help me think of a way?" she breathed against his mouth.
His fingers wrapped around her waist and pulled her closer into him, the thought of food all but forgotten. "We've always found a way before."
Her leg slid against his. "Maybe I can..." she paused suddenly, closing her eyes as his mouth found a particularly sensitive spot. Shards.... "Maybe I can convince him to...." her nails slid down his back, "...see his son."
"Hmmm, a trip like that might take a couple days at least. I can take him if you like." M'tone would be more than happy to escort Ojisan far away from Larken for a while. He felt no guilt at deceiving the man. This was a Weyr. Life was different here. He only kept his relationship with Larken secret for her sake since it seemed important to her, but in his mind she had made her own choice, as was her right to do.
"You don't think someone else should take him?" Even through the haze of lust, Larken felt a stab of worry. Ojisan knew M'tone, but she didn't want them both to come into contact with one another often.
The brownrider covered her neck with soft kisses, careful not to leave any marks her husband might be suspicious of. "I don't care who takes him as long as he's gone."
"I'll bring it up to him tonight," she whispered, slender arms twining tightly around him as she sensually gave herself fully to M'tone.
