Description: Aishara gets to know her wingmate, R'mer in the Flight Bed...
Location: Dolphin Cove Weyr
Date: month 8, day 4 of Turn 5
Auymith hissed and snarled at the males that gather around the glowing
green. She was attaracting a decent group of brown, bronzes and blues.
Aishara rolled her eyes to the green's antics. ** Get on with it, I
don't have whole day,** she promted her.
}: I choose my own time and my own mate :{ the green declared, but she
did launch into the air, calling the males to follow her.
Hanunth launched himself after her, determined to catch this beautiful
prize. As a bronze, he was a bit slower than many of the other chasers.
Blue and brown were smaller, lighter, more agile. It took a lot for
him to get his frame off the ground and climb into the air. But his
muscles were powerful and his wing beats strong. Each one brought him
closer to the others as they followed after the taunting green.
Auymith took them to the clouds, leading them to her aerial dance. She
tended to choose different mate everytime, she dropped out one by one,
those who had already mated with her. So, who was new? That handsome
young bronze. She flirtingly flew right past Hanunth.
He was young, but he had been a fast learner. When a green flew that
close, you took the opportunity that presented itself. As Hanunth
twined his neck with Auymith's, R'mer reached out to pull Aishara into
his arms.

The bronzerider woke to the feeling of a pressing weight across his
chest. The heaviness he felt, as it turned out, was Aishara, her legs
still straddling him, and her hairs sticking to his chest and tickling
is chin. He groaned every so slightly as the weight was making it hard
to breath. "Hello?"
"Hello, there," Aishara answered with a smile, feeling rather giddy
after the mating flight. Belately she realize she was pressing on him
and
rolled to the side.
R'mer took a full breath at last. "Sorry," he said as he breathed the
lungful out, knowing that she had been quite comfortable where she was.
His hands instinctively reached down to cover himself as both of them
were very much naked and he wasn't sure where the sheet had ended up.
Though this wasn't his first won Flight, it was only his second, and he
was accustomed yet to waking up next to a stranger in bed and not
knowing how they got to where they were.
"I should have said that for pinning you down," Aishara said.
"It's all right." As he glanced over at her face, his mind became
clearer and he remembered she was not a stranger. They had been
candidates and weyrlings together, and now wingmates. He suddenly felt
even more awkward than before! It was one thing to wake up naked next
to someone you didn't know and probably wouldn't see much of in the
future, but he would meet Aishara every sharding day!
"So, Hanunth won this time," Aishara remarked. She wasn't a slightliest
bit awkward. It was somehow more easier to her when she didn't have to
ask
names.
"It seems so." His eyes dropped from her face down to her chest. He
couldn't remember it, but he had probably touched those breasts just a
few moments ago. Touched... Kneaded... Kissed... Shards. R'mer
swallowed thickly when he realized he had been staring. "Sorry," he
whispered, quickly turning his gaze up towards the ceiling.
"Don't be. It's kind of flattering, you know," Aishara's lips curved up
to a smile. She knew she had nothing to shame about when it came to her
body.
She was naturally athletic.
A small smile pulled at the corner of his lips. If only she knew how
much he wanted to flatter her just then! "I'm just still not good at...
Well, any of this."
"You need to practise some more, then," Aishara suggested, sliding her
hand across his arm. He had quite nicely formed biceps.
When he finally looked her in the eye, he gave her a smile that was shy,
but interested. "If you keep touching me like that, I don't know if
I'll be able to wait for the next time your green rises to practice."
"Why wait?" she leaned over him so her hair fell into his face. "No one
expects us this soon after a mating flight."
R'mer forgot that he was trying to hide himself as he reached up to
brush her hair back. Modesty and embarrassment, the thought of facing
her outside the flight chamber, it all faded into the background as he
felt that surge of dragonlust once more. Perhaps for the first time,
the bronzerider really looked at Aishara. Her hazel eyes, tanned skin,
her slightly parted lips. "You're really pretty," he breathed softly.
"You are rather nice to the eyes too. What did you do before Impressing?
I like firm muscles," her voice was low purr and her hands explored the
muscles she so admired.
His breath caught slightly as her fingers brushed against him teasingly.
He let his hand trail down her back as he formed his answer. "I farmed
my family's land."
"That's nice," Aishara said, not really caring what he said. She just
cared about the dragonlust still lingering in her.
"Not really." His fingers softly caressed the small of her back, then
lower to her thigh. "You're pretty strong. What did you do?"
"Hang around beasts a lot, helped my father. He's a bestcrafter,"
Aishara replied.
He wrapped his fingers around the back of her knee and pulled her leg
over his. "In the Weyr?"
"No, in Emerald Falls hold," Aishara replied and move to nibble his ear.
"Oh." He wasn't sure if it was a reply or a groan. "I... I wasn't
weyrbred either."
"I figured that out already," Aishara murmured.
"Sorry." It was kind of hard to think clearly with her lips on his neck
like that! "Was it hard? I mean... weyr life... Was it hard to...
adjust?"
"Shut up and kiss me," Aishara said with gentle tone and took her own
advice.
