Z'ku

Z'ku

She watched him from across the dining cavern. She did this often
enough that it had become second nature to her. Sipping her soup, her
eyes sought him out. Towcha sighed. He was so handsome. She had wanted
nothing more than to talk to him for Turns. _Really_ talk to him.
She'd said hello before, but he probably didn't even know her name.

Finishing her soup, she rose to return her bowl and pick up some
pastries. She looked for him again, but didn't see him where he'd been
before. Towcha frowned. He must have left already. She had hoped for
more time to enjoy his 'company,' though it could hardly be called
company to watch the man she adored from across the room.

Z'ku decided that now was as good a time as any. He'd noticed the girl
staring, and it wasn't the first time. He always noticed the women
staring at him, flirting with him, but he almost always ignored them.
He only had eyes for Meledei. No, he _used_ to. Things had to change.
So he excused himself from his friends as they made their way out of
the dining cavern and went straight for the young woman. "Hello
there."

Towcha jumped at his voice in her ear. She would know that voice
_anywhere_. She had committed it to memory and was always listening
for it.

She turned her green eyes to meet his. She might not have wanted to
approach him, but she had learned to look the men in the Weyr in the
eye during her craft work as it garnered their respect.

"Hello, Z'ku," she replied.

He found himself searching for polite words. **No more of that. You
left the hold turns ago.** Z'ku smiled and said, "I noticed you
watching me."

"Oh, I, well." Towcha fumbled for the words, a bit embarrassed to have
been caught. "Yes, I was." She felt like a fool, but yet thrilled that
he was talking to her right now. "I've watched you a lot," she added a
bit quieter, ducking her gaze from his.

"Would you like to do more than watch?" There, that sounded like a
confident bronzerider.

Her eyes opened wide at him and his words. "Oh, um, what?" She finally
questioned him, uncertain of his full meaning. There were so many
things he could have been getting at and Towcha wasn't always good
with interpreting the rider's interests in romantic realms or such.
Truthfully not many had expressed interest in her. She wasn't the
prettiest girl. She wasn't a rider. The few that had had only wanted
one thing and for one time.

He edged closer to her. "I want some company tonight."

"You want _me_?" She asked, almost in shock at his words. She had
dreamed of this moment for so long. "Yes! I mean, I wouldn't mind
keeping you company tonight." Hopefully the little bit of practice she
_did_ have would _finally_ come in handy with the man she had been
dreaming of for Turns.

He arched an eyebrow. "Wouldn't mind? Or do you _want_ to?" Z'ku
wanted to feel... wanted. Not uncertain, or hurt, or rejected.

She moved a step closer. Her voice lower as she replied, "you have
_no_ idea how long I've wanted this Z'ku. I never dreamed this day
would come." Towcha, while somewhat shy in the public realm outside
her craft, had a fiery self that burned with desire and passion when
given the chance/

He took her hand. "It's your lucky day." Leaning close, he said,
"Would you like to come to my weyr?"

"Yes," she breathed, her eyes wide with excitement. Her heart was
hammering, her stomach was fluttering. **Finally, I will get what I've
long for for so long,** she thought as she followed him like the a
love-sick canine.

This was the way it should be. Women following _him_ around. He was a
sharding bronzerider after all. "Ever seen a bronzerider's weyr
before?" He asked as they made their way through the halls.

"No," she stated, then pushing up against him slightly she added
quietly, "but I've always wanted to see _yours_."

He slipped a hand around her waist. "You'll get to see as much of it
as you like. And you'll get to see me, every inch of me."

"I can't wait," she breathed, her senses on high alert as he drew her
just a bit closer to him. She was itching to feel him and have his
hands on her in return.

They reached his weyr and he led her inside. The door was barely
closed before he pulled her into a kiss.

Her lips melted against his with a groan. "I've wanted this since the
day I arrived here, Z'ku," she breathed. "Show me what it is I've been
dreaming of. Show me." Towcha was eager and excited. All her dreams
were coming true this very moment. For once she would have the man
she'd desired for so long.

Her words had an instant reaction on his body and he held her tighter,
his lips demanding. He only pulled away long enough to start stripping
off her clothes. For over a turn he hadn't had sex outside of flights
-- winning or losing -- and now here was a woman who wanted him.
Dreamed about him. No dragonlust drove him, just simple human desire.
"Show me what I've been missing." And he would _not_ think about a
certain goldrider.

Her own body reacted instantly. She eagerly helped him remove her
clothes, while her own hands fumbled to do the same with his. He had
been the man she'd wanted for so long. Her experiences weren't many,
but they were enough to guide her now as she pushed away his clothes
and felt his flesh against her own.

"Oh, Z'ku. You're even more amazing than I dreamed," she breathed, her
eyes feasting on the man she'd imagined. No longer would she just have
to pretend she knew him intimately. Now, she could see all the muscle
and sinew that made up his firm and flattering form. Towcha seared the
image to her mind in case she never got the chance again.

"Make me yours, Z'ku. I've dreamed of this moment for so long. Make me
yours." She breathed.

"Mine," he growled. He gave her a long, admiring look before he picked
her up and carried her toward the bed.
