Description: Sasima finally moves into W'ser's weyr.
Location: Dragonsfall Weyr
Date: month 4, day 2 of Turn 7
W'ser looked around as the last drudge left his weyr. Well,
technically, it was no longer just his. All of Sasima's things were
now in boxes around the room, not that the kitchen worker had much in
the way of things since she had lived in a such a small space before.
It hadn't taken them long to get her boxes moved, especially with the
help of a few of Sasima's fellow workers.
The Weyrdragonhealer's living quarters were neat and tidy, but basic
and utilitarian. He had what he needed and that was it. The man didn't
apologize for it, he spent a lot of time in his office and in the
infirmary after all. Decorations didn't matter, what mattered was the
woman standing in the middle of the room.
"Welcome home." He said with a grin as he stepped over to Sasima and
pressed a kiss to her forehead.
"Home," she said softly testing out the word. It wasn't really a
concept she'd ever applied to anywhere she'd lived before. Her arms
went around his waist. It was also the first time she'd willingly
lived with a man she deeply cared for. She didn't really even know
what 'home' was supposed to feel like but she figured he'd help her
learn. "Where should I put my things?"
"Anywhere you would like, my love, this is now your place too." W'ser
told her, truthfully he wasn't very concerned with where the things
went, as long as her beautiful figure ended up beside of his every
night in _their_ bed.
Well that really still hadn't hit her but she supposed anywhere with
W'ser would be like home to her. He was truly kind in a way she'd
never really experienced... ever. He even knew the right buttons to
press for the very best lovemaking.
"Well, I suppose I can get some of this put away." It really wasn't a
lot in the size of place he had.
"Just tell me where to put things and I'll help." W'ser said, rolling
his sleeves back over his corded, muscular forearms.
She just shook her head with a soft laugh. "Its not like I have all
that much." But she moved toward the few boxes anyway. "This and this
in the bedroom. I'll just need a couple of pegs and a little room in
your chest."
W'ser took the items from Sasima and put them where she instructed. As
he came back from the bedroom, he stopped for a moment, content to
lean against the doorway and watch the woman while she worked. A few
strands of her hair were loose and curling around her face. He was
struck again by her beauty, and how lucky he was to have her.
She took a small nondescript box from inside one of the larger boxes
then looked at the tables on either side of the big bed. "Which side
is mine," she asked. She'd spent evenings with him but they'd never
really spent full nights together just sleeping. Her work schedule had
been so early in the morning she'd always gone back to her own small room. So
she had no idea which side of the bed he preferred.
As a bachelor, W'ser had pretty much taken up the entire bed by
sleeping in the middle, "Whichever side you prefer, I am not picky."
He said truthfully, as long as he was lying beside of Sasima he didn't
care if he was on her left or her right.
She walked around to the side farther from the door for if one of them
was going to have to run for it in the middle of the night it would be
the Dragonhealer not the drudge. She set the small box on the table.
In it were her only treasures, the small necklace that had been around
her throat on the day she'd been found at the gather. She'd managed to
keep it through everything and it along with a couple of other small
pieces she'd 'acquired' along the way made up her small treasure. She
walked back around the bed and up to the tall man who was changing her
entire perspective on life. "I guess we'll just have to see how it
goes."
W'ser smiled and wrapped his arms around Sasima's waist, drawing her
busy flush against his, "Maybe we'll just sleep on whichever side we
end up on the end of the night?" He suggested, lips pressing to the
woman's neck.
She shivered and giggled wrapping her own arms up his back. "Want to
practice?" Her voice was breathy and suggestive.
"All the time." He growled playfully, quickly scooping her up into his
arms and just as quickly depositing her on the bed.
"W'ser," she squealed. She was never going to get unpacked this way.
But honestly, she didn't mind in the least and threw her heart into
the exercise.
