Saibra
Z'an

Z'an

Saibra, even though she was a mother of two, had no trouble getting
out at the Weyrlake in a barely-there swimsuit and giving her gold a
good scrub. Dragonriding and regular exercise had kept the Weyrwoman's
Second in good shape, and she had no qualms about showing it off. She
also didn't mind enjoying the scenery of scantily clad men that were
always at the Weyrlake either.

**What is his name?** She asked Chioneth, her eyes roaming over to a
man closeby.

}:That is Vicarth's rider, Z'an.:{ Chioneth replied, not really that
interested since she was focused on getting her hide scrubbed.

Saibra grinned, the water splashing around her ankles as she
approached the brownrider, "Care to help a lady wash her dragon?" She
asked, "I am afraid my children have deserted me for something a
little more fun than dragon washing."

Z'an had already noticed the new goldrider and his gaze had settled on
her more than once with interest. As she approached, a grin split his
face, brown eyes sparkling with warmth. "My my...their desertion is
most definitely to my benefit, goldrider. I am completely at your
service." He flicked his gaze over her with appreciation.
"Completely."

She laughed, liking this brownrider already, "Allright, now, be
careful with what you say, or I'll hold you to it." Saibra winked and
then turned and led Z'an over to Chioneth.

}:About time.:{ The gold grumbled.

**Oh, shush, you'll be all ready for some flirting too once you have
been washed.** Saibra told the gold as she handed Z'an one of the
brushes.

"Hold me as close as you want." Z'an replied promptly with a distinct
waggle to his brow. He took the brush and with experienced hands,
began to scrub. "So, newest goldrider, I was wondering when I might
have the chance to...interact with you."

"You should have came forward sooner then." She flashed a toothy
smile, "Sometimes I get distracted by my work." The bicep muscles in
her arms tightened and flexed as she scrubbed.

"I was busy enjoying the view." He grinned and let his gaze slide over
her hips. "I have to say, I like what your bathing suit doesn't cover."
He winked and scrubbed at the gold's hide. "We brownriders often don't
get a chance to enjoy time with goldriders as much as we would like."
He laughed softly. "Those shaffing bronzeriders, you know."

Saibra smiled, "Yes well, since the winner of Chioneth's flights does
not determine the Weyrleader, she and I get to spend much more time
with brownriders than the Weyrwoman does." She had always had a soft
spot for brownriders, after all, K'fel had been one, although there
had been enough arrogance and confidence there to make it _seem_ as if
he were a bronzerider. "I might even prefer brownriders." She winked.

"Well, all the better for me to charm you, then." Z'an met her smile,
his own merry and light hearted. "Can you ask her to bend a bit and
I'll get that neck ridge."

Before Saibra relayed the message, Chioneth did as the brownrider
requested, crouching lower so that her neckridge would be reachable.
The gold seemed pleased at the attention.

}: I like this brownrider, he scrubs much harder than you. It is
nice.:{ Chioneth told Saibra matter-of-factly.

"You are earning some serious points with Chioneth." She told Z'an.

Chuckling, Z'an scrubbed. "Do points with Chioneth help with any
points with her rider?" He looked at Chioneth. "Help me out here, and
I'll scrub you as hard as you like. "

"Points with Chioneth count double for her rider." Saibra promised
with a wink as she continued scrubbing her side of the golden queen.
Chioneth was by no means a giant queen, nor was she small either, just
an average size, which still meant that there was _plenty_ of her to
wash come bath time.

"So, how many points would I need gather until Chioneth's rider would
think enough of me to join me for dinner?" He scrubbed dutifully,
wiping away the sweet sand foam with an experienced hand.

Saibra's lips were still curved in a smile, "Oh I think you probably
have earned enough that she would join you for dinner."

Flicking away a strand of his own damp hair, his eyes twinkled
mischievously. "Just dinner?"

She tossed back her head and laughed, "I guess it depends on how good
dinner is!" Oh yes, she liked this brownrider.

He chuckled along with her. "Well then, you have to tell me what you
like so I can make sure it's a good dinner."

The woman's eyes crinkled at the edges as she shook her head, "That
would be cheating!" Saibra said, as she disappeared around Chioneth's
side and made her way back to the gold's rear flank to begin scrubbing
there. Briefly she wondered if Z'an was attached to anyone. So far all
of the fun, or semi-interesting, men at the Weyr all had some weyrmate
sitting at home waiting on them. Not that Saibra was _looking_ for a
weyrmate, but she also wasn't looking for some crying woman to show up
on her doorstep angry because her darling weyrmate sometimes ended up
in Saibra's bed. Saibra liked having no strings attached, and she
enjoyed finding partners who were also free.

"Not at all," he replied promptly. "It's getting the advantage." He
stepped carefully up on Chioneth's forelimb and scrubbed along her
shoulder blade and along the creases around her neck ridges. "And
being prepared." He chuckled easily, then flicked a long strand of
hair from his brown. "And if I have a good dinner prepared, you can
bring a good desert."

Saibra pretended to think on that, "OK, then, I guess it wouldn't hurt
to give you a hint... I _love_ a good piece of grilled fish." She
finished with her part of Chioneth and stepped toward Z'an, "And
having said that, I will let you handle the dessert." A smirk
followed.

"Then I can promise you a meal you'll never forget." He gave a bow,
nearly lost his balance and had to cling to a neck ridge to prevent
himself from falling off. "Well, shards...there goes my smooth image..."

The goldrider laughed, hiding it behind a raised hand, "Well then, at
least this gives you plenty of room to prove how smooth you are
tonight."

"Laugh now, Saibra, but I can readily accept that challenge."

Saibra smiled, "I look forward to it."
