Relea

Relea

"What do you think?" Relea tilted the hat a little and then twirled
about so that she could show off all of it. It was a white hand laced
with green and purple flowers. She'd worn her dress that had inspired
her to make it, pale green with violet flowers embroidered all over it
and trimmed in white. It was a very spring time sort of outfit - but
then, most of her outfits were like that. Such a pallet appealed to
her - bright, cheerful.

Coran had to admit that he didn't really care a wit about the hat. His
eyes found the curve of her bodice and the dip of her neckline to be
_much_ more fascinating than the hat. Still, he managed to bring his
eyes up from her body to her face before she caught him staring, "It
looks great." He replied, although whether he was talking about her
body or the hat would be up for interpretation.

"I have something for you." Her skirt had billowed with the motion,
but then twisted about her legs as she stopped to reach for a small,
fabric wrapped bundle. Relea plucked it from its perch on a shelf,
then held it out to Coran.

The healer's eyebrows rose, pleasantly surprised as he took the small
package, "Thank you." He said as pulled the fabric away from the
object. Coran smiled when the cloth fell away to reveal a black hat,
the cloth around the brim was a nice black and grey in pattern. "It's
great, Relea," he said with genuine pleasure in the gift, "it still
amazes me how good you are at making these."

"You sure you like it?" Her gaze studied his expression with intensity as
her hands formed words. "I'd rather you be honest than polite."

Coran chuckled as he twirled the hat in his hands and then flipped it
onto his head, "I swear, Relea, I love it." He reached out and put his
hands on her waist to draw her closer, "It's perfect." He pressed a
kiss to her lips.

If he didn't truly, then he hid it well and Relea decided not to push or
complain. She smiled against his mouth as it joined with hers and she
tilted her head a little, silent acceptance of the gesture.

There was no other word Coran could use to describe Relea other than
sweet. Everything about her was sweet, even the taste of her lips. The
times when they were able to have intimate contact was too rare for
the healer and so he simply drew her in closer, deepening the kiss.

Coran had been so careful and cautious up until that point. Often
times, Relea felt as if she were being treated like a piece of
pottery, one to be carefully tiptoed around lest it fell at the
slightest whisper of a breeze. As he drew her into his arms, she had
that same sensation - until he deepened the kiss. It was with a
boldness he'd not exhibited prior - and she found it desirable. Her
mouth opened and her arms slipped around him as she responded with a
measure of enthusiasm.

Spurred by the woman's acceptance, Coran nibbled lightly on her bottom
lip before dipping his tongue into her silken mouth. Yes, yes, she was
sweet. One hand traveled up the curve of her back, finding its way to
the silky skin along the back of her neck.

As he deepened it further, Relea responded in kind. It had been a
long time since she'd been kissed in such a fashion. Nico had been
just as enthuastic, though a little more insistent. He'd never been
disrespectful or try to force her. Still, somehow, she felt a little
safer with Coran. Perhaps it was there was no fear of Leaton as he
had approved the match. Perhaps because he'd been so hesitant, had
waited so long to get to that point. Regardless, she accepted his
advances without hesitation and leaned into both his embrace and the
kiss.

Coran was very pleased at Relea's responsiveness, he hadn't expected
such passion from someone who very much a lady in every sense of the
word. Desire curled in the pit of the healer's stomach as a hand slide
its way up the ladder of Relea's ribs.

Heat worked its way through her body and she shivered as Coran's hands
began to trael. As much as she wanted to continue, as pleasurable as
his touch was, Relea broke the kiss and stepped back. "We shouldn't."
Her hands signed even as she attempted to tame her quickened
breathing.

The healer closed his eyes for a moment, releasing a long, slow exhale
before opening them again to look at Relea, "You are right. I'm
sorry." He signed back to her. It was so easy to get caught up in
Relea. Coran hadn't been intimate with a woman in months, the last
being a one-night fling with one of the kitchen workers, and then
beyond that there really hadn't been anyone since his late wife. It was
going to be a lot harder to be around Relea now, he was a man after
all, and knew that he would have sex on the brain until their wedding
night.

"Don't be." Relea's hands spoke for her. "It's nice to know that I'm
halfway desirable." Someone else had thought that once, but he'd
given up because of her declaration. This time, however, Leaton was
no danger to him. Perhaps she could allow herself to love this man.
She already liked and respected him - it was a step in the right
direction.

Coran shook his head with a roll of his eyes, a smile tugging at his
lips, "Relea, you are_far_ more than 'halfway desirable'." His eyes
swept over her figure, "Far more." He signed again, meeting her eyes
with a smile.

Relea's cheeks were set aflame at the compliment - but she had to
admit, she liked the feeling his words gave her.
