W'ser

W'ser

W'ser was still in a bit of disbelief as he tucked an arm around
Rorela's tiny waist and then collapsed on his side, his broad chest
rising and falling rapidly as he fought to regain his breath. As the
last waves of euphoria spiraled their way out of his body, he briefly
reached out to Branth, who was feeling quite satisfied with himself.
After all this time, and so many losses, to have finally caught again
made winning Rorela's flight that much more satisfying. W'ser didn't
know the woman well, other than her name and the fact that she was a
Wingthird.

Rorela slumped back with a satiated smile. She loved the feeling of
blissful completion after a flight and despite the fact that she could
actually think now, it would be a while before the hungry lust faded.
She settled back against the warmth of the man's chest and half rolled
to meet his gaze. "Well..." her voice was a soft purr. "...hello."

"Hello." W'ser lifted his fingers and trailed them through her short
hair. The brownrider didn't try to fight the inevitable grin that
crossed his face.

Rorela stretched feline like, curling her toes with satisfaction
before giving a cheeky smile. She matched his smile and quirked a brow
up. "Well, don't you look pleased with yourself?" She chuckled softly.
"But for good reason, most certainly."

"It has been a while since Branth won a flight so I am afraid that his
smugness may still be bleeding through." W'ser said with a chuckle.

Rorela never lost her smile, instead her eyes twinkled mischievously.
"It's well earned smugness. Upinth is feeling rather sated." She
rolled to her side and propped her head up on her hand. She had half
expected G'nir to win her flight and finding herself next to the
brownrider was a surprise. A pleasant one, but still a surprise. Her
eyes trailed over him without shame. "W'ser, isn't it?"

W'ser had been at the Weyr far too long to feel the least bit insecure
about his body. He was in shape, and he knew it, "That is correct. I
am afraid with me being stuck in the dragon infirmary most of the time
that we haven't had much opportunity to become acquainted. A good
thing, since I wouldn't want to wish that on Upinth."

"Nor would I." She agreed. She laid her hand on his chest, enjoying
the firmness and slid her foot against his calf slowly. "You're not in
any hurry are you?"

He and Sasima had never really discussed this as weyrmates, mostly
because Branth had such a horrible record of losing flights. Still,
W'ser was confident that Sasima would be fine, after all, being the
loser of a mating flight was how he had first stumbled into bed with
his future weyrmate.

"I have no where to be." He smiled.

"Good. Because..." She pressed against him with a soft purr. "I'd like
to get to know you much better."

W'ser trailed a finger down Rorela's jawline, "I would like that." He
agreed, his insides still thrumming from the after effects of the
mating flight.

-----

Flushed and now fully sated, Rorela laid back on the cot and stretched
her arms up over her head, stretching out full length. She loved it
when Upinth was caught by riders who were more than willing to spend
time taking care of _all_ the flight lust. She sat up and ran a hand
through her short blonde hair, then looked over her shoulder. "Your
Branth should chase Upinth more often."

That earned a chuckle from the brownrider as he pushed back the furs
and reached for his pants, "That would be nice." He agreed. Sharing a
flight with a lovely greenrider who wasn't worried about rushing back
to a jealous weyrmate was always a nice bonus. W'ser briefly thought
of Sasima and decided that after he had bathed he would go seek out
his own weyrmate, just to check on her.

She rose, unashamed of her nudity and pulled her shirt over her head.
"You know, it's a pleasure to have a good flight partner. Not
holdbred, not uptight and not trying to force anything. Thank you."

W'ser tucked his tunic into his pants, fastened his belt and spoke
while rolling up his sleeves, "I was just thinking the same thing,
Rorela." He had woken up one time to a sobbing woman because her
weyrmate had not won... That had been real pleasant... And then there
was those semi-awkward times when he woke up with a male greenrider
who was still feeling frisky, but there just wasn't enough left-over
mating flight lust in W'ser to want to lay with a man again. Those
were always awkward too.

She moved to brush her lips over W'ser's cheek, her expression warm
and affectionate. "Be sure to have your brown chase Upinth next time."
She winked, fastened her pants and ran a hand through short, but
mussed hair to straighten out. "I'll see you later, hot stuff." She
flashed a grin, picked up her shoes and sauntered out with a pleased
smile.
