Weyrling Training Guide - Month 1
His month is both the hardest and the easiest of the entire weyrlinghood. Most of the time will be spent getting to know one's lifemate and learning to care for a young, growing dragon properly. Dragon and rider will spend time simply getting to know each other and strengthening the bond they now share, with the aid and counsel of older riders and weyrlingstaff. There is very little free time allotted at any point in weyrlinghood, but even less during the first month. At hatching, a dragonet ranges from 3 to 4 feet in length, but the size will change rapidly, especially for the larger colors. Restdays
