Some big news coming from River Bluff-Briata has finally given in and decided that she is going to weyrmate with Y'gel. The Weyrdragonhealer is obviously over the moons. Briata then told Gelira, Y'gel's daughter, who was happy about the news as well, despite how young Briata is.
U'fouinn and D'arvn are still going strong, as evidenced by the mated pair's celebration of their anniversary. They exchanged gifts and had a meal together with a few tender moments.
U'fouinn also met Bahji and the two of them decided to help each other with weaving projects.
Goldrider Lenala spent some time with Wingleader U'kaiah after her hatching and was disappointed when he told her how happy he was with the other two women in his life. She also had a chat with the Weyrwoman about her training program and balked a little when Rhosyn suggested she meet with a mindhealer. The Weyrwoman also had a little meeting with Wingsecond J'ren, asking him to spend a little more time with Lenala-to set a good example for her. Maybe Rhosyn also has an ulterior motive-a good bronze to pair with the other gold in the Weyr?
U'das and Rhosyn made their way over to Dolphin Cove Weyr for N'vanik's hatching. The Weyrwoman bet against the bronzerider for the first dragon color shelled and lost.
This month, River Bluff Weyr's senior queen will be rising to mate. Who will be the lucky dragon? Will Nikornath woo her once more? There will be eggs and the searchriders will be going out to find candidates. And there will be a party, of course, for Turnover. So dust off your dancing shoes, folks and transfer to River Bluff or make a new character!
