River Bluff has been gearing up for a hatching and now the Weyr has a new class of weyrlings! Congrats to all who Impressed at Orlaith's second hatching with Nikornath! Plenty of hatching posts to come from Triad's writers, I'm sure.
The new bluerider, S'yei, was eating with Jaylene and her family. He ends up with a date to the hatching after J'zen accepts his offer. J'zen's been busy though. He was spending some fur time with P'veas when the two were caught by the greenrider's son, Pastrah. This was followed by some explaining about Weyrlife.
Layris the cook's assistant asked the Weyrwoman to Stand as a candidate for the clutch. She gave her permission after being bribed with food. He and Jayonne talk about dragons and holdbred folk. Pastrah also asked to become a candidate and finally got his wish after a trip with the Weyrwoman to visit some of the Weyr's injured dragonriders.
Elsewhere in the Weyr, things were a bit awkward as Briata and Y'gel confronted each other after her firelizard's flight caused the two of them to sleep together. The bronzerider didn't seem bothered but she was still thinking about her lost B'lamick.
Uetia and S'yei meet up and she welcomes him to the Weyr. They talk about crafting and where he's from. Im're begins flying in the Queen's Wing as he recoups from his injuries. Rhosyn welcomes him and sets up his recovery timeline.
Poor Blayre gets consternated by J'zen and company. The vintner is overwhelmed by their confusing choices and lack thereof. Finally, a decision is made after much discussion.
So if you haven't joined the fun at River Bluff, create a persona! We could use some active healers, brats, and whatever else we can get. Lots of crazy weather coming in month 5 so we're waiting to see some more posts folks.
