Dolphin Cove has a new Weyrlingmaster Second, D'naz. He asked N'vanik if he could take on the 'Third rank and was surprised to get more than he asked for. D'naz chats with Qorri about his new role.
T'nom gives Meledei a bracelet he made himself. Z'ku and Meledei take runners out for a restday together. T'nom admits to Z'ku that he has an interest in Meledei and they make a friendly bet about how many women they can dance with at Dragonsfall's Hatching.
Meledei and D'hol talk about their differing views of life. L'cor and C'baz talk about the changes weyrlinghood will bring.
N'vanik confronts Z'an about what happend with Rhoysn at the Gather and Z'an asks to be transfered to another Wing. N'vanik talks to D'hol about taking the brownrider for his Wing.
D'naz talks to new blue weyrling C'baz. Sh'dori congratulates his daughter Malyna on her Impression. Z'ku also congratulates her. N'vanik talks to L'cor while their dragons carry on a conversation of their own. Tonuth is rather awed by his sire.
N'vanik talks to the mostly-healed Pierka and offers her a spot in his Wing.
Aishara asks R'enh to go to a Gather with her, now that her leg is healed. Cosani and C'jex enjoy some time together after his blue catches Shalith.
Rhosyn comes to talk to N'vanik, but he only speaks to her through his dragon and tells her to leave.
