Sh'del is promoted to Weyrlingmaster. He gives an unsure Naevyn some encouragement. He also meets Cyradis and their two firelizards get acquainted.
E'ril and X'ian have a bluerider to bluerider talk. E'ril also admits to Sh'del that he's having a bit of girl trouble.
N'vanik creates tension with Cyradis, who is now acting Weyrwoman. She vents to K'deren. Cyradis and K'deren seem to be getting along quite well, taking their children to the beach, having dinner together, and sharing a bottle of wine.
N'vanik talks to R'enh about his issues trusting Cyradis, ad the Wingsecond encourages him to give her a chance. The next time the Weyrleader and acting Weyrwoman talk, they have a more civil conversation.
Meledei dances with T'aseh and T'nom at the Hatching. N'vanik tells Meledei that Janani is leaving. Meledei comes up with an idea for a new wing formation and shares it with Cyradis.
Rhosyn comes to Dolphin Cove to talk to N'vanik about Janani leaving. The River Bluff Weyrwoman also comes by later to have a talk with Cyradis.
E'ron and Pierka have dinner together and then go up to his weyr.
Qorri gets some weyrbrats to help her with the tunnelsnake problem.
