E'ron and Pierka share a first kiss, and later have a dinner date. E'ron also clears the air with Meledei over her ex-lover. Sh'del asks E'ron to be a mentor to the weyrlings. The bluerider also goes exploring with Cosani in a cave.
Qorri helps shy Naevyn get settled. T'aesh gets training on recognition points. X'ian and Ch'din meet and have a chat. Cosani meets Naevyn thanks to their greens. Dysali meets Naton on the beach. Naton also meets E'ron
K'dall Impresses, and so does Z'hren. F'aen and Naevyn Impress and later chat about their new lives.
At the Hatching, lots of dancing and chatting going on! Sh'del dances with Rhosyn. Meledei dances with T'nom and T'aesh. Goldriders are so popular! There's also chatting going on. Qorri chats with Sh'del, and N'vanik chats with the River Bluff Weyrleader. Cyradis catches up with the Dragonsfall Weyrleader -- they once lived in the same Weyr.
N'vanik and R'enh talk about Wing business. Qorri brings an issue to the Weyrleader -- the tunnelsnakes are getting out of control.
Cyradis talks to T'aesh. She also meets with new Candidate Kelwin who moved with his greenrider sister.
We are sad to announce that Weyrwoman Janani is leaving us. She's moving to a northern Weyr that desperately needs an experienced goldrider. She says her goodbyes to N'vanik and he turns a cold shoulder. N'vanik breaks the news to Qorri, and the two of them inform Cyradis that she is now acting Weyrwoman. Things don't go well since N'vanik thinks the Headwoman should run domestic management, and Cyradis should stick to her Wing duties.
