Zahren meets Meledei and performs some music for her. Meledei and T'aesh catch up. N'vanik comes to see Meledei and congratulate her Elleth's clutch. Qorri speaks with the young goldrider about her preferences for the Feast.
Qorri encourages Z'ku to stop avoiding Meledei. He asks her for a dance at the Hatching feast and they make plans to spend a restday together.
Meledei and Cyradis have a pleasant first meeting. The new Weyrwoman Second also meets with Qorri. K'deren and Cyradis get a little better acquainted.
Sh'dori brings Tavia flowers. After the birth of their son, Tavia and U'kaiah spend a bit time together with the baby.
E'ril gets promoted to Weyrlingmaster Third. He also pays a visit to Meledei a visit the day before the Hatching.
Elleth's Clutch hatched and there's now a new group of weyrlings!
N'vanik and Rhosyn keep things low-key at the Hatching, chatting about various things, and Rhosyn gives him a present. Rhosyn meets Cyradis and they size each other up. Rhosyn also congratulates Meledei and R'enh.
E'ron and Cosani make plans for the restday, and go exploring in a cave.
Talryne and Qorri have a chat that brings up some unpleasant thoughts for Talryne.
