In Green Valley, Arippa confronts her husband about the rumours of him and Relea. Reven can't quite see why she's suspicious and it doesn't go well. Despite Reven's reassurances, Arippa isn't convinced of his innocence. Will they be able to salvage their marriage and find happiness or will they end up like their Lord and Lady Holder?
Despite Reven's precautions, of not to be alone with Relea, he does found himself in her room again, without chaperone, when his brother Coran is called away with emergency. Will people ever believe he was there just to fetch the hats Relea had made and nothing passed between them but few marks?
