Past month has been busy in Emerald Falls hold.
Steward Sarban met with master beastcrafter Aivorn to discuss the status of hold's herds.
The hold's beast are blooming expect for the ovines. There's infection spreading among the ovines that affects mostly the young beasts. Aivorn and the beastcrafters are dealing with the situation and there's no cause to alarm, but it might affect the hold's trade.
Dolphin Cove Weyr's new weyrleader N'vanik paid a visit to Emerald Falls Hold and met Lord Holder Corowal. Corowal likes to improve his relationship to the Weyr and assures N'vanik that he will not interfere with the dragonriders age old right to Search. Although he experessed a wish that they would Search more boys.
Headwoman Vanea visited the Riverboat Sungazer and met with Rahona. As a result of this meeting she walked home with a firelizard egg. Her daughter Neata was more than little jealous when she found about the egg. She wanted one for herself too. Result was less pleasant argument between mother and daughter. Firelizard eggs aren't always a happy occasion.
Corowal had invited Felyna to walk with him, but the weather forced them to stay indoors. Instead they explored the paintings of the Hold's previous Lords and Ladies. Corowal shared some stories from the Hold's history and then popped up _the question_, surprising Felyna. Or perhaps not, isn't that what she had been aiming for, for a so long time? There seems to be wedding fever in air…
