There's been quiet in Emerald Falls Hold.
Lord holder's children dragged their fostermother, Erassa to watch how their father was practising sword-fighting. She was reclutantly impressed by Corowal prowness. The children told her that he practices regulary. The Lord holder proved that he can give a much bigger man a run for his marks in a training field.
Vanea was musing her life and pondering her and her children's situation. It's not easy to be a Headwoman of a large hold and mother for three children with demented grandmother to care for. She seems still miss her deceased husband.
