It's been a slow month in Emerald Falls hold.
Headwoman Vanea and Master Miranek's wife Helvalla talked about children and juice when Helvalla stopped by at the hold's kitchen. And when two mother's talk, the subject is almost always their children.
Vanea's daughter Neata is making plans of her own with her friend. She seems determined to chase her ambition to become a harper. But she doesn't want to leaver her family in trouble either. What will happen with her plans? Can she make it or is she stuck with caring for her senile grandmother and kitchen duty?
Children seem to be the centre of this month. Lord Holder Corowal's young heir, Corofel, managed to get into trouble again and this time he dragged Neabin, Vanea's son, with him. Their ball game resulted to a one broken window and two angry parents.
