Physical Description of Persona:
H'riv is 5'10" with shoulders thickly padded with muscle from Turns of dragonriding. He has a natural olive complexion, which is sure to turn darker as he spends more time outdoors. Unlike his father and brothers, H'riv keeps his hair cut short, with just enough length for the dark brown locks to be kept combed back from his face but still fit neatly under a riding helmet. Dark green eyes, that sometimes appear more hazel, are inherited from his father and sit above a pair of weather burnished cheekbones. His jawline is rather square, but his thin lips are usually pulled into a grin that most women find handsome.

Emotional Description of Persona:
H'riv is a well balanced individual. He has always lived life in a very care free state, and as a result, has become a very flexible person. Jealousy and possessiveness are not traits commonly associated with this brownrider, which made his transition to living at the Weyr a rather easy one. H'riv understands the more holdbound thoughts regarding relationships and the roles of men and women, but he kindly disagrees with them.

History of Persona:
H'riv, full name Haythriv, was born to a seacrafter and a dolphineer at a small seahold on the Northern continent. He was the third eldest of six children, which landed him smack dab in the middle with his slightly younger brother Thayde. While his older two brothers followed in their father's path, one becoming a sailor and the other a seacrafter, and his younger siblings following in his mother's footsteps to become a dolphineer, H'riv did not fit the mold.

H'riv was Searched and taken to the Weyr at eighteen, along with his sister Aydramine, who was twelve at the time. With no Thread falling, H'riv was able to pursue a craft as well as a Candidacy and joined with the Technicians. At nineteen he Impressed Uuketh and once Weyrlinghood was completed, he continued working his way through the ranks of the Technician craft.

Life went on as normal for several Turns while H'riv worked as a technician, with the only notable change being the return of Threadfall when he was thirty-one. The way of life changed for everyone, and the first couple of Turns were especially hard as Threadfall brought casualties.

Word of Barrier Lake Weyrhold opening was an interesting piece of gossip for all dragonriders, but H'riv became especially interested in the project when they requested dragonriders who had crafts that would be helpful to the building process. Eager to have another opportunity to work more in his craft, H'riv joined the project to work with the other technicians on wiring the new Weyrhold.

Uuketh is average in length and wingspan for a brown dragon. He is a rich caramel brown in color with lighter sandy tones beneath his belly and tail. Uuketh is a very quiet dragon and only offers commentary to his rider; very rarely does the brown speak to another besides H'riv.
