Physical Description of Persona:
Tavhei is tall and well-built. He has a lean, athletic frame, rather than appearing overtly stocky. He has short-cut, straight black hair and striking heterochromia in his eyes. One eye is a cool blue, the other a light green. His fair skin carries a natural warmth, seeming to tan rather than burn in the sun, and he tends to dress well.

Emotional Description of Persona:
At first impression, some might sense just a hint of disdain from Tavhei. He's quiet, and a little aloof around people he doesn't know, though it's more out of a desire to avoid getting attached to someone he could lose.

He tends to throw himself wholly into work, though he can be social in the right setting, or with the right people. If he _is_ friendly with someone, however, he tends toward dry wit and sarcasm to keep them at bay still.

Tavhei doesn't fully open up to others easily, but when he does, he won't treat them lightly. He's a good listener, with a strong sense of empathy, even if he wishes he wasn’t sometimes.

History of Persona:
Tavhei was born to a greenrider mother, Vheira, at Dolphin Cove Weyr, and raised primarily by her, only going into the creche when Vheira had duties that took precedent.

Tavhei grew up as any other Weyrbrat would, running free and imagining a dragon of his own. He began Standing at twelve Turns old.

Vheira lost her dragon to a terrible Threadfall accident shortly before Tavhei turned 13, whereupon he immediately dropped out of Candidacy in order to spend as much time at her side as possible.

Eventually, he apprenticed to the Harpers, though his focus stayed at least on being there for and looking after his mother as he could. Vheira refuses to leave her home, and Tavhei won't leave without her.
