Physical Description of Persona:
A'yan is slender and fair skinned, with a build that's spare rather than stocky. He has honey-blond hair and expressive blue eyes that seem to darken or lighten slightly depending on how much light is available.

A'yan is little bit soft at the edges, though weyrling training will rapidly turn it into wiry muscle. He'll grow taller, too, though he'll never be considered among the tallest. He's nearly always got a smile ready.

Emotional Description of Persona:
Outwardly energetic and flamboyant, determined to keep up with those around him and always, _always_ have his best foot forward, be it with dressing well or always having something to say.

Internally, however, he is always trying to measure what words will be taken how, to guess how a quip or offered helping hand will be taken.

If he's not deliberately pushing himself forward, he tends to fade into the background, or fold under another's disapproval, leading to occasionally giving up rather than trying again, or with more effort. If confronted, he tends toward self depreciation and apologies rather than immediate promises to improve.

History of Persona:
Areyfan was born in Hidden Meadows Hold, to an extended family of 14-- his parents, his uncle, his siblings, and their grandparents. He was the second youngest of nine siblings. As neither the eldest nor the baby of the family, he was mostly left to his own devices outside of lessons.

When he was twelve, he apprenticed formally to the Harpers, and spent the next few years as an apprentice, before being Searched for Chioneth's clutch.

He was encouraged to take the token and Stand by one of the Harpers mentoring him, and after a long deliberation he accepted. Maybe he'd try. Just once. Surely nothing would happen.

Green Nhaliviath took one look and changed his life forever.

Description of Dragon:
Nhaliviath is on the smaller side for a green, with pale hide that's mostly a gleaming jade in colour. Her wings and chest are even lighter still, a soft mint in colouration, as well as a lighter muzzle. She's long and streamlined rather than bulky, with a narrow build that suggests she'll be both fast and agile in the air.

Put simply, Nhaliviath is a little bit of a diva. She'll always demand whatever attention A'yan or anyone around her can give. She'll try to be the first to leap to do something, though she expects praise when she _does_ do what she's told. If she doesn't want to do something, on the other hand, she can be remarkably stubborn.

There is a nicer side to her, however. If she's decided someone is a friend, or she knows her rider is friends with them, she'll take their side no matter what. And whatever A'yan wants, she'll actively do her best to support him.
