Physical Description of Persona:
Sabonus is slightly taller than average with sandy blonde hair and slate grey eyes. His features are regular, but not distinctive. He has broad shoulders and strong arms from turns wielding his tools. Though he has lived most of his life at sea, he is not particularly tanned, having spent as much time indoors working on maintaining the ship as outside.

Emotional Description of Persona:
Steady would be a good word to describe Sabonus. Aboard ship he is always at his work, getting it done on time, and if he is late for any reason he is honest and forthright. When not on duty he tends to always be doing something with his hands, hating to sit idle for very long. He enjoys fishing a great deal and has become quite good at crafting rods and tackle for it.
Sabonus would not be characterized as a very emotional young man. Of course, he feels emotions same as everyone else, but he is hard to anger, hard to fool, hard to impress. Despite that, he does have a good sense of humor, though for him a smile's as good as a laugh.

History of Persona:
To say that Sabonus was born a seacrafter would not be far off. His father had been a boatswain aboard a trading and passenger vessel that would sail from Jade Harbor Hold down through the Sea of Azov. The docks were Sabonus' playground as a boy, and he soon knew every ship and captain by name and could tell you each part of a ship, it's classification, and how much crew and cargo it could hold. His father only encouraged this interest in his son, and brought him and his brothers along on short cruises whenever Harper lessons would allow.

As soon as he turned twelve turns, Sabonus was brought aboard ship formally and apprenticed to a Master Carpenter who had taken an interested in the young lad hanging around the ship yards. Master Daroot spent six turns as his teacher, and was sorely sad to graduate the boy up to journeyman rank when the time came. It was a sad parting as Sabonus was offered his first assignment aboard a ship of his own.

Fate, it seemed, had different ideas, however. The ship he was supposed to sail out on was harbored at River Bluff Weyr to deliver a tithe and take on trade goods. Soon after Sabonus arrived, he was approached by greenrider R'sedel, whose green Eniidith had pointed the boy out as a possible candidate for Search. Though Sabonus was reluctant at first to give up is life at sea for any reason, R'sedel proved very convincing. With such a busy harbor connected to the Weyr, Sabonus could continue his craft, even if it wasn't on the open water, and see if just perhaps there wasn't a life that he could never have imagined waiting for him on the Sands.
Sabonus took a ship assignment and the ship he was on disappeared during storm. He left a grieving behind a grieving weyrmate and unborn baby. Lost in a sea, presumed dead m10 d20, turn 7.
