Physical Description of Persona:
S'yei has a rugged, square jawline that is usually covered in a light spread of stubble, and hides a good portion of his smooth bronze skin. His black hair is kept short; his eyes blue and set astride a straight nose. S'yei's mouth is naturally turned up around the corners, giving him a perpetually pleasant expression. Tall, and lanky, the bluerider is lean muscle and sports broad shoulders, a trim waist, and long legs.

Emotional Description of Persona:
S'yei is very easy going, he accepts the ways of the Weyr and enjoys everything that comes with Weyrlife. Not one to be upset by tedious things, S'yei is fiercely protective of those in his life and has been described as a highly passionate lover. S'yei is modest, but in a confident way. He knows that he's attractive, and he knows his strengths, but you'll rarely find the bluerider bragging on himself, in fact, he's reluctant to do so. Some would describe S'yei has brooding, but the man is of the opinion that there's no need for talking unless you have something to say.

History of Persona:
S'yei was born and raised at Dragonsfall during the Interval and when he was old enough he joined the Vintner craft. With Thread a thought that was to be put off until the Pass, the Weyr enjoyed Wing games and drinking, which made S'yei's craft an important one to the Weyr and surrounding territories. S'yei appreciated the different alcohols, liquors and other concoctions that he created, but he never abused them and as always had a respect for what the body can tolerate. At nineteen, barely a month away from his twentieth Turn, S'yei made the last minute decision to Stand at Dragonsfall's hatching and was rewarded in his efforts when he impressed to blue Yalith. Being Weyr born and raised, S'yei easily adapted to the lifestyle of a dragonrider, and even though he did weyrmate to a man, and experiment with women, he always enjoyed mating flights and the possibilities that they held. It wasn't that Yalith won often, but S'yei always enjoyed the gamble of the flight and its possible outcome.

S'yei was in his thirties when Thread began to fall again, and as many of the other dragonriders learned, fighting Thread was a lot harder than it had sounded in ballads. S'yei lost his greenrider weyrmate that first Turn during Thread, and the experience sobered him greatly. Fighting Thread became a task that S'yei took as seriously as breathing, and it showed as he worked in his Wing.

S'yei still has yet to take another weyrmate. He's had his dalliances, but none of them sparked his interest long-term. S'yei feels that weyrmating causes nothing but unnecessary drama and jealousy, and he won't risk getting so close to someone again, only to be hurt when they perish in Threadfall.

Description of Dragon:
Yalith is a modest sized blue that's a shade of blue akin to a sapphire when viewed through sunlight. His body is leanly muscled, making him sleek and agile in the air. Much like his rider, Yalith is laid back in his personality and fairly quiet, preferring instead to spend his time sunning.
