Physical Description of Persona:
At 5'10, wiry Alitel looks younger than his age. His oval face is barely handsome, with brown eyes and sandy brown hair that sports blonde highlights and falls haphazardly in every direction. He has a lopsided smile that shows a dimple in his right cheek. Not an ounce of fat resides on his lean frame and Alitel keeps himself in shape with his antics. Leather bands of every hue adorn his wrists and his hands are calloused from playing gitar.

Emotional Description of Persona:
Alitel relies on his charismatic personality to attract others, though he really doesn't try. He's a goofy, fun-loving man, who doesn't seem to be growing up any time soon and this happy-go-lucky attitude endears him to others. While late to nearly everything, Alitel will gladly dive into helping others and genuinely cares, even if he seems a bit spacey at times. He's almost always on the go and makes friends with nearly everyone he meets.

Outside of his truancy, Alitel's biggest fault is the inability to commit within his limits. He agrees to nearly every project asked of him and overexerts himself. When it comes to relationships, Alitel keeps them brief, afraid of getting tied down and being unhappy. He feels bad breaking hearts like he does but he'd feel worse being stagnant.

History of Persona:
Alitel is Weyrblood, son of a bronzerider and a harper. Growing up in the South, the adventurous Alitel was almost always in trouble or danger. Kicked, bitten and scratched by various creatures and objects, Alitel wanted nothing more than to explore and have fun and did so.

In an attempt to give her headstrong son some direction, Alitel's mother encouraged him to learn music, which worked only as far as keeping the
boisterous youngster now singing everywhere he ran. He begrudgingly agreed to go to Harper Hall at thirteen. At first, he aimed to get kicked out of the Hall, since he had deemed it "no fun" but after a master gave him a gitar and taught him how to play, all Alitel wanted to do was make (loud)
music.

Alitel snapped up the chance to return to the Weyr when the Searchdragons came, and returned to River Bluff Weyr to Stand repeatedly, convinced that having a dragon must be fun and was definitely better than being just a harper. Between Hatchings, he continued his studies in music, where masters still remember him with a rueful laugh and a shake of their head.

Sometime before his nineteenth birthingday, Alitel chanced upon a firelizard clutch for sale and secured himself tiny blue Rian. As mischievous as his owner, the two became inseparable and a sign of sure trouble to come. With his twenty-second Turn looming, Alitel plans to progress into journeyman status, if he doesn't Impress a dragon at the next Hatching.

Rian, Blue Firelizard: aged 9, hatched m1 d12
Rian is an ultramarine blue firelizard, small in size, but perfect for Alitel. The only thing he's good for is finding random objects for Alitel, who usually doesn't mind having to return the articles to their owners.
