So much going on at River Bluff! For starters, S'ber got himself distracted by his green firelizard and the young bronzerider's dragon was injured in Threadfall. Gelira came to his aid-the young dragonhealer was trying to get Dylorth taken care of.
S'ber also found himself helping the Weyrwoman out with her straps and he discovered that being a goldrider is not as easy as it seems and he was a bit confused from her teasing.
Greenrider U'fouinn was seen speaking with D'ren-the bronzerider transfer from Dolphin Cove. The two of them seem to be fostering some wing camaraderie which is good. Well then, D'ren manages to win U'fouinn's greenflight and things are a bit off.
Eirlira and Gelira talk and it seems the new candidate didn't realize just how well connected Gelira was. The holder came to the Weyr but her future isn't set and she doesn't understand Weyr ways at all.
Lenala and M'galec run into each other and it seems there are still coals there from the old flame. Lenala wants him back but doesn't know what to do.
Wingleader U'das had a birthingday party and quite a few Weyrfolks turned out. The Weyrwoman was there, along with the Headwoman, and his Wingsecond. His son gave him a gift and so did Bahji. D'arvn was on hand, as well as Uetia and many others.
A setback to the Weyr-U'das goes to the healers and finds out his vision is getting worse. What will the Weyrleader do? Will the old Wingleader still be able to do his duties?
The River Bluff waterball team was seen practicing in preparation for their big match against the Dragonsfall team. Will they be victorious?
E'rae and Bahji sit down and write a letter to her parents. The girl must decide if she wants to go home or stay at the Weyr. The only problem is she can't go home since she's no longer a pure woman. Her emotional struggle is hard to see.
Gelira and Rhosyn had a chat about what happened with N'vanik. The Weyrwoman tries to train Gelira on how to handle situations like that for the future.
