Pierka and Jeyme strike up a friendship. Meledei and Jeyme talk about their relationship troubles. Jeyme also makes friends with Talryne.
Qorri checks on the unconcious D'hol and then makes sure Jeyme is taking care of herself.
D'hol finally wakes up after being struck by lightning. His weyrmate is there, along with Cyradis and his daughter. After a few days, he's able to return home. But all is not well and he and Jeyme soon has a fight. She goes to stay with S'avn. Jeyme realizes that she's in love with D'hol. The bronzerider goes to get advice from Cyradis. The weyrmates are reunited and D'hol finally admits he loves Jeyme.
Jenackt saves Saidrene from choking and she gets a big crush on him. She helps him with his bloody knuckles.
A strange man shows up to D'hol and Jeyme's weyr. It turns out to be D'hol's unknown son and boy is he a jerk!
Jenackt gets etiquette lessons from Saibra. He's not pleased to have yet another thing to learn. He blows off some steam by punching a post. Later he shows Saibra a proper swordfighting stance.
Alina is having trouble being so far away from home and misses her twin. She writes a letter to her sister. She tries to have a talk with Jenackt about his fight but it doesn't go well. Later they have to do chores together. Alina helps a surly Jenackt with his homework. Alina is doing much better making friends with L'pin. He offers to show her his music and teach her how to play instruments.
L'pin asks to be transferred back to the weyrling wing after a long absence.
R'enh and Aishara have a serious discussion about their relationship.
Z'an makes friends with the new goldrider and they plan to practice strip dragonpoker. He also flirts with the quite pregnant Pierka.
The Wingleaders choose which of the graduating weyrlings to take into their wings.
After learning Jenackt's real name, Qorri demands answers from the Weyrleaders. When N'vanik won't share Jenackt's story, she quits.
