Saibra meets Pierka and gets to know her. Z'ku and Pierka talk about her pregnancy. At one of her check ups, T'nom unexpectedly kisses Pierka, upsetting her.
Rhosyn pays a surprise visit to Dolphin Cove when her 'Second's gold rises. The weyr shows the pregnant Weyrwoman their best hospitality, giving her a meal and a temporary room to rest in. Saibra gets a chance to talk to her while N'vanik and R'enh hover around. N'vanik spends some extra time with Rhosyn before she goes back to River Bluff.
Qorri finds out that Jenackt lied about his name and is furious. Jenackt considers quitting but D'naz challenges him to stay. Jenackt is provoked into a fight with fellow Candidates. Xandris sees him afterwards and finds out his friend Dayf was the one who started trouble.
Meledei chats with Qorri. T'nom gets some relationship advice from K'deren. F'aen is injured in Threadfall, bringing up bad memories for D'naz. Dragonsfall rider Talwynn visits Dolphin Cove, missing her old home. Saibra has a talk with N'vanik, the two of them getting to know each other a bit.
D'hol is injured in Threadfall when lightning strikes him and his Yumath. Rushed to the infirmary, he remains unconscious. Jeyme visits the rider while Cyradis tries to comfort the dragon.
After the accident, Cyradis needs some comfort from her weyrmate.
