Physical Description of Persona:
Sorsha is of average height and weight with a small frame and shapely figure. She has blackish long hair which she often wears braided as it curls when loose. She has big bright green eyes, and a row of freckles that cross her nose and cheeks.

Emotional Description of Persona:
She's an emotionally secure and happy girl. Growing up, she was loved by her father and never beaten or abused. She has a strong sense of duty and responsibility being the daughter of a holder.

History of Persona:
Sorsha was born and raised at Green Bend Sea Hold, northeast of Topaz Sea Hold. Her mother died after the birth of her sister, and her father never remarried, leaving her mostly to do what she pleased around the hold. Her father treated her much like his sons and taught her about the sea; how to fish, set traps, to sail, etc. Without a permanent harper assigned to the hold, she never advanced very far in her reading, writing, and arithmatic. Her training as a lady got mostly forgotten about as well, leaving her only basic skills in sewing and other lady of the hold duties.

She was Searched when she was fifteen and both her and her father felt it was her duty to Stand. When she didn't Impress, she returned to Green Bend, missing her family and the quiet lifestyle of a sea hold. Realizing she needed more training and teaching than he (without a wife) could provide, Balisor arrainged a turn long fostering with his friend Serend to his hold at Willet Grove. The two decided that if the turn went well and Sorsha proved to be a good and honorable girl, a marriage contract was to be tentatively agreed upon as well between Sorsha and Serend's son Railen.

What neither family forsaw was Sorsha and Railen falling in love while at Willet Grove. Deciding that a full turn of fostering was unnecessary, Serend and Balisor agreed to let the two marry now, and plans were made for a wedding aboard Balisor's ship at Turn's End. Sorsha was blissfully happy, looking forward to a long and fulfilling life with Railen, but was plagued with nightmares after being repeatedly reminded that she was Searched and it was her duty to Stand. After discussing the nightmares with her betrothed, the two decided that they would travel to the Weyr to Stand. If she Impressed, then they'd make their life at the Weyr. If she didn't, then they'd return to Willet Grove; either way, they'd be together.

After a quick wedding to Railen, Sorsha Impressed green Roseth at the hatching and is going through training with Railen (now Ri'len) who Impressed a bronze of his own.
